our creative space ~ packaging

we are in the middle of birthday festival here ~ we now have a 7 year old and a 4 year old! their birthdays are 5 days apart and this year we decided to do 2 parties ~ being 4 is a big deal! kind of busy but the parties are small and manageable, so hopefully this weekend will be fun.

workwise . . . i've put the packaging together for some DIY garland packs ~ with instructions. hopefully i have described the process clearly. a couple are available here, more to follow.

the birthday festival

the birthday festival has begun. the little one turned 3 on friday and the big one turns 6 on wednesday and a double party will happen on tuesday {melbourne cup day!!}.
feels like a bigger celebration all round this year as 3 feels like we now have 2 'kids'. it's the first 'real' birthday. we got him some lego because in our house lego is IT and also lego = completely grown up.

the birthday festival begins

our littlest turned 2 today! the festival actually started on tuesday, this is the second cake {which started yesterday!} and there will be a party and a 3/4 day visit from my dad and his wife starting saturday. our big one turns 5 on tuesday.
the top photo makes me laugh as there is a piece of sticky tape on ari's back, lovingly put there by his brother {who likes to wear all his shirts back to front and sometimes inside out}.

birthday festival

it has been a birthday festival for the last 5 days as our first son turned 4 and the little one turned 1! the birthdays are five days apart. the character above was a small present from me to my little one!
i am hoping that tomorrow, while most of melbourne goes crazy about the cup, i will be at my desk doing some art!
