am very excited about getting a treasury spot! i thought it'd be tricky but not so :) can cross off one of my new year resolutions now.

fresh ocean colours

this collage is part of an ongoing series called 'little piece of the ocean' which i feel could be endless! oceans provide me with a constant source of inspiration for a few reasons: the colours resonate with me and will always be my favourite and my mother's ashes were scattered into the waves of a beach on the north coast of new south wales almost 20 years ago. i guess the later detail is most significant yet also alive somewhere in the back of my mind – i don't really think about these things as i work . . .


i love the colours and cool freshness in this treasury curated by enhabiten, thanku – my grey ocean drawing sits proudly among the others.

another surprise . . . thanku to anakim for putting this one together and including dark hills and grassy plains. the colours work so well and the pieces look like they were made for each other! can be found in treasurywest which is working again :)

melbourne etsy treasury and meetup

there is going to be a catchup for melbourne etsy sellers this sunday which will be great. it's a little intimidating to meet so many people at once, but great for inspiration and getting to know other artists/crafty types.
annalaura has put together this treasury with a melbourne theme - it includes my campsite drawing {2nd row, far right}, which is very exciting, thanks anna.
