new work!

:: grasses . acrylic on wood
:: hex garden . acrylic on wood
:: birds . acrylic on wood

1 recently finished painting and 2 new ones.

yesterday was the 4th out of 6 chemo treatments and for the last two i've been needing to wait an extra week for blood counts to come back to safe levels to go again ~ kind of frustrating and scary but it does give me a bit of good painting time. generally once the nausea part is over, the inspiration is still there. so baby steps!
these will be in the shop soon. i've also been slowly adding diy garland packs and garlands to the shop . . .

hope you are all doing ok and planning something fun for the weekend :)

You're so courageous, Belinda! It must be so hard crawling back into your creative process after being so sick from the treatment. But the work you've produced is so intense and beautiful. Goodluck with the other treatments - it's a long way and I hope that you won't feel too exhausted and sick. XO Mitsy

I'm glad that you are holding up ok, and you're getting some time for creativity.

These are so beautiful. I am really impressed that you have created such beautiful pieces seeing as you are probably feeling quite horrible.

Just popped in to see how you are doing and so glad to find the creativity is holding fast by you. No matter what that keeps us sane right? Good on you for being so brave - the chemo must be so awful, but your spirit is shining though :)

Hello there! I hate to say it but we have a bit in common. My friend Anna just sent me over as I have started on the same interesting journey as you back in march I like to make stuff too and hopefully will get back to it when I get more familiar with the chemo ride having only had one! Nice to meet you. I'll be back to catch up on your progress and your art. Hope your ride is smooth!

I love the red little dots and the choice of colors. I like the green shade that you used. It's a very nice shade of green.
