my space needs attention and energy! i spent a whole day putting it together, but that was just unpacking and putting things on shelves, in drawers and in piles on the desk and floor. i'll get there!the huge task that i'm about to start is photographing finished work ~ there's lots!! but i'm not scared as the light is good!
the top pic is some home made wrapping paper my little one and i made yesterday ~ my first creative effort in the new house.

Isn't it amazing how much stuff fits into a creative space? It takes as long to pack or unpack my creative stuff as it does the rest of the house, I think!
I will move my creative space for the first time next year when our new house is built. I am so scared of how mammoth a task it will be! I’m trying to focus on the excitement of setting up the new space, but the packing and unpacking first just seems to loom in the foreground. It must be starting to get exciting for you, at the stage you are at now – just getting it all just so and working again.

i am having a very similar experience right now as i just moved to a new home and a new studio (in separate locations). so, i totally understand how you feel! it's a very exciting time and i am so happy for you :) love the pic in the post below with the desk in front of the big, beautiful window! all that wonderful natural light is going to be so great for your work!
also, i have the same lime green containers from ikea!

It's so pretty and neat looking - I love all the colours you have there! My space is seriously messy with charcoals and pastel as you can imagine!
It always nice to unpack and organise a new space - it does sound like a lovely light space!

Wow, so nice and organized. I always wish that I could keep my studio nice and clean with everything in it's place, but that doesn't seem to work very well.
