our creative space

thinking of using these collage pieces {cut out paper with pinholes and stitching} in this new painting. i don't usually add collage pieces to painting on wood, but i'm thinking it might work. i like the look of the thread hanging loose but am wondering if it would make varnishing and scanning etc too tricky . . . so much technical planning involved with this intuitive process!!

happy creative space day. to see more click on over.

I really love the colours you've used here. That painting is looking amazing - very intrigued to see the finished product! Your little corner here is really lovely.

I received my gorgeous Kangaroo Print in the mail Belinda! Thank you so much. No need to say how in love I am with it, is there?

Now we have a contract on a house and I can't wait to get my studio set up so I can hang my print!

Your creative space is looking super creative indeed. The piece in the second image is wonderfully evocative. I love the contrast between the colours as well as the brushstrokes. It looks fantastic even if it is unfinished. :)

I did not spend much time on it, but I did try to scan an embroidered running stitch for my previous blog design, and I found it challenging to get it right. It was ok, but not great. If you figure out the secret, let me know! :)
