my creative space

no childcare today ~ so i thought i'd show some progress on this painting . . . looking over unfinished work while unpacking has renewed my interest! i thought the white was too dominating, but i think with the plans i have, it might be ok.
and i've finally started making something with this yarn. it has been keeping me company and providing colour inspiration for a while now :)

hope you are having a creative day! pop into kirsty's for more spaces or to play along.

It is just gorgeous Belinda - there's something very hypnotic about the white but I see what you mean about dominating... can't wait to see what you have in mind. Those lovely crochet bits look fabulous too :) Kx

p.s. Sorry I haven't got back to you - I always value your comments so please don't apologise or think you're being bossy... not a chance of that Mrs! Kx

I always find it interesting what other mediums artists work in. I can't knit myself (more than scarves) but I can definitely see where one thing inspires the next for you.

Love how you use the mint color everywhere - it's your trademark I believe! ;) Nice work, Belinda, the crochet and the painting!

I love the painting! I think the white is dominant, but not in a bad way. It reminds me a bit of crochet stitches, or some kind of veil or gauze over the landscape (although maybe that's a bit of suggestion from the piece above). I can't wait to see where you go with it.
