knitting!

i guess this means that i've been hibernating for a couple of months: cardigan number 2 and 3 for this winter! {i inherited my mother's ability to knit quickly}. i mucked up the sizing with number 2 {turquoise} which is ok as it fits my sister!

the turquoise yarn is jo sharp aran tweed in 'imagine' ~ which is now a discontinued colour {a crazy decision i think!}. i managed to find enough to make another one as i really love the colour, but i have a feeling it might be spring before i finish number 4.

hope u are good today :)

I love those colours! What a bugger about the sizing.. lucky for your sister though :)

I'm madly trying to finish my knitting too... this weeks weather is totally gorgeous here in Sydney.. so I'm a bit worried I won't get to wear them, but I will though even if I have to sweat my neck off :)

Lucky sister hey? Wool just seems like a magnet for me at the moment - and the more luxurious the better. Am learning felting tomorrow at 'school' - all those saturated colours - can hardly wait :)

Wow. I think my sister would fall over if I knitted a cardigan for her! As per usual, I love your colours. I always used to gravitate towards ultra marine blues and then I bought this amazing turquoise scarf when I was in Belgium about six years ago and I just feel in love with the colours and ever since have bought everything in blues and greens. Guess what colour bridesmaid dress Christina is wearing? :-)

(Commenting beneath my sister, hi Fiona! I would also accept a scarf.)

These colours are so very you Belinda. That was my first thought. My second was thoughts of envy at your speedy knitting! Something I have yet to acquire. :)
