my creative space

today i made some packaging for my new to-be product that is in the works. i googled 'origami envelope' and found some instructions on how to make a square one with no tape! i used my print seconds ~ i have a huge pile of these that i haven't thrown away thinking they may be useful sometime {playschool drummed this concept into me at a very young age}. to make a print from an original i sometimes use 7 or 8 tries at getting the colour right.

the bottome pic is some sketches that will become aceos, hopefully tomorrow! i've had a request for some, which is very exciting :)

hope your thursday has been/will be very creative. to see more spaces or show your own go to kootoyoo.

There's something about tiny things isn't there...these envelopes are works of art by themselves...

Those envelopes are worth framing on their own, let alone with one of your gorgeous notes in there.

I agree ~ the envelopes are works of art on their own. Fantastic pic. Can't wait to see the new product. And the ACEOS. I can see a return visit in my future!

What a clever idea and such beautiful artwork. Origami always tricks me up but I love the result.

i love the packaging idea (visually), but equally love that you are going to use your seconds. such a great way to re-use/recycle and make something beautiful.

Belinda these are so beautiful!
I love to fold envelopes this way, I remember as a child folding a ton of invitations for my parents. It's so fun isn't it? :)
Happy weekend!

We have similar color brains — I LOVE green too. These envelopes rock, how cool that they're self-closing! And congrats on the aceo requests. You rock, plain and simple.
