these are watercolour, gouache and pencil on paper. versions of drawings i've posted before. i'm still not sure where i'm taking them. i'd love to learn how to create patterns for fabric. i'd also love to take them further as stand alone pieces. getting closer . . . just short on time!
* they are linked to flickr for clearer viewing, just click on the images to see.

oh these would make beautiful fabrics!
So delicate and fun! Great beginning!
I could definitely see your style translating to fabric. Oh, oh, oh! Just thinking out loud: I would so love to see your little tents on fabric!
Beautiful! I feel like they're floating in the air :)
you should totally learn to do fabrics! these are pretty, i love how simple they are :)
they're beautiful and light! could go well in a nursary :)
your work would translate well in fabric. i can see a sweet little sundress or apron coming to life with these in progress pieces (or with the tent pieces). There is a link through "Mummysam" about creating fabric....good luck!
Please come do this all over the walls at my new apartment - Thank you!
p.s. Found you in the Etsy forums!
Ha, even before I read your post I was thinking, "These would make great fabrics"
Lovely! I'm thrilled to have discovered your beautiful work and blog.
I just found your Etsy shop. Your work is full of lightness and joy. Thank you for showing us your process on the blog. Being an oil painter myself, I love the "process"; it's the one time I enjoy giving up control.
You could always start with by doing some linoleum cuts for the design, and printing with textile inks - it would be a relatively flexible, easy & inexpensive way to get started. Shoot me an email if you'd like some more information - I'd love to your work on textiles!
