today is the first 'official' work day for this year! the rest of the family is at school . . . i'm sitting here in almost~silence, and i can hear my thoughts!!
these are some of the prints i've been working on. {you might remember the drawing from an earlier version}. i've had both versions stuck to the wall for a few days to see if i'd feel like changing anything.
working with the black linen has made me re~love black. i did like the bottom one best, but have grown into the top one.
would love to know what you think :)
they are in the
shop . . .

oh i really love the first one- in black! nice! and different. hope you enjoyed the almost silence :)
I like them both, but I actually really favor the black!
the black one is very striking but I find the blue one much calmer and would probably like it best to actually live with, if that makes sense :)
I have a hard time with black, too...I'm usually attracted to light colors and black can feel so harsh. when I'm scrolling through pics on flickr or something I gravitate to the lightest thing on the page, usually.
love love love both of them. but have a slight preference for no 1.
wow... that is really fantastic - love it.
LOVE THEM! Top one is my favourite because the stronger colours have more impact, but I think that's personal choice as both work beautifully. Great work, Belinda. Kx
I kinda like the top one too, it's strong and really stand out! :D
def the top one. lovely. x
I'm also for the top one, the contrast of the colours gives a special power.
I like them both, but the top one great! The contrast with the black really makes it pop!
Happy Tuesday!
Yep, I do like the significance of the black, as it has a lovely Asian inspired feel. Glad you're having fun with this new work.

i can`t get enough from that picture.
i love the punch of contrast in the black one. both are great! i hope you had a fantastic work day!
I hate being a fence sitter - but I can't decide. I instantly fell in love with the black - but the lighter one has also grown on me... I think it would really depend on the light play in the room you would put it in :)
