the new desk is not looking so new anymore~ which is ok with me.
a couple of
new prints and some paintings and sketches in progress on the desk today. feeling a lot more relaxed with the different directions happening at the same time ~ sketching/trying out new things, quickly as they come up helps. just need a few more days in a row {universal truth}!
hope you had fun in your space! to see more, visit kirsty
here.
ps. the solid blocks of colours are inspired by
this work of my son's.

My creative space looks like it got hit by a hurricane.. then maybe a tornado.. then a earth quake.
I second Vic :)
The first one (teal&orange) is my favorite. Nice to see your new directions in art. Very fresh.
Oh these are just stunning! I love the delicate flowers.

Oh yes, I see the relationship between them. They are lovely, Belinda, particularly the one with the orange bits. I think the bottom one needs that touch of contrast too actually, just a little bit, you know? Kx
Beautiful new work!
They complement each other so nicely.

Lovely work too!

My fave is the brighter one...off to check your shop!
Every time I get a scratch, dent, dab of paint or ink on my desk, the huz has a fit because the desk has been "ruined." I laugh at him, because I prefer it looking well loved. :)
I like those solid blocks of color, and the color combinations.
your work is so calming and peacefull....
beautiful belinda, reminds me of a collage with dabs of beautiful washi tape
really beautiful :)
I love hearing that you were inspired by your son's work.
Those orange blocks are wonderful.
Loving the flower designs!
Love the mom-son art collaboration!!
Yes, to have some days in a row...what a great idea- the days doing work on the desk are never enough- have a lovely weekend!XX
My mom has a desk which she uses to make artwork and she gets so upset when she spills paint on it. You have to enjoy what you have. If you worry all the time about ruining it then how can you enjoy it?
