i chose a space in a favourite cafe this morning to clear my head after the school/kinder drop off.
the woman sitting next to me leaned over and asked: 'what are you doing? are you designing fabric?' then she said she liked it!
so there it is. that's the other thing i want to be doing!
happy creative space day :)

nice Belinda. ahhh... yes, fabric. :)
Yes, I see tea towels...curtains...pillows... duvet covers!
you should definitely do it your work would be lovely in fabric form!!
hmmm, love fabric!
oh i need a day to clear my head, too.
don't you find yourself sometimes clouded with the million things you want to do but don't have time to? wishing you had a clone? hehe
your drawing would make wonderful fabric, i would totally wear a dress made of it.
oh cool! That is nice affirmation! Could always test some on Spoonflower?!
perfect idea! go for it :)
Well it's great immediate feedback! And it is lovely.
I am intrigued by what happens when I sketch in public spaces. I once did that in Angkor Watt in Cambodia and I was surrounded by kids almost instantly.
I love those colours in the first image. Really pretty and so unique.
Great idea, Belinda! I think your designs would look fab on fabrics!
I love creating in public, there is something totally unique about every experience. Gorgeous sketches, I'd love to see them on fabric.

Beautiful sketches and how lovely to have compliments in a cafe. x
So pretty ... sometimes sitting in a cafe is the perfect place to be by yourself and yet not alone.
What a knowledgeable woman - your sketches would make beautiful fabric.
That's so cool! Validation from a stranger can add confidence in a totally different way than support from friends.
Random but fills with imagination :) :) Love them!
It's going to be be-utiful. I can't wait
what a moment you had in the cafe! The design is beautiful.
Very lovely.
Hi Belinda, it's been a while, hope you've been well. Have been catching up with your blog, it's looking beautiful as always. : )
I adore your mini collage pieces... And am not surprised at all that your sketchbooks have admirers in cafes. Fabric is calling you for sure!!
I agree that your designs will look awesome printed on textile. Funny thing is, I just thought of you in that matter and then came over here and read your post...
