my creative space

figuring out what i really want to work on . . . lots of things started, waiting for me to make the next move.
feeling kind of scattered and exhausted after the first half of the week which was all about tantrums and naughtiness {think two and a half!} and sickness {home from school}.
remembering that painting is just the therapy for this side of life. i wonder why i actually forget this and don't get straight into it when i can . . .

happy creative space day! pop over to kirsty's for more spaces :)

You know, I have never like tents so much as I like yours. I always hated camping, but your tents are too cute!

I know that feeling - I have some time and ende up procrastinating about what to do with it, so then I get nothing done...
Hope you can get stuck into it soon.

Always such soothing colors in your space! I'm right there with you with the tantrums (mine's 3). It sure can exhaust all the creativity right out of you!

I know what you mean, Belinda - I think the saying is wood for the trees ;) Loving your palette and that gorgeous ball of yarn complimenting your paintings :) Kx

Oh yeah, I have a bit of the two and a halves and the home from schools going on too. I just adore that top photo with all the different mediums competing for your attention. Gorgeous!

Love that last shot- the turquoise and those tents or igloos. Good luck getting them all done. And of course enjoy! xo m.

I couldn't agree more about the therapy part! It's amazing what art can do for us, isn't it? And you're so right about having to wait for the inspiration to hit. I've never been one to force myself. Good luck, I'm sure things will settle down soon. :)

Bleurch, two and a half... you'll need a fair bit of painting to recover from that. Your scatteredness is nonetheless producing lots of exquisite artwork - lovely.

your work space always looks so soothing and calm. the colors are like a quiet, cool night right now. i can't wait to see more tents! i know how you feel about distractions. my two are out of school for summer break as of two days ago and i might not get anything done ever again. :p

Something must be in the air. Feeling the same way this week.

I really like the pieces you've started! I'm intrigued by the green one that is partially shown. Love its vibrancy.
