my creative space

getting the party ready in this new painting.
i'm working on making holes for these drawings while the paint dries! you know how it is time-wise, and when you can't decide you dither between. . .
new colours, bought on the weekend. i have been craving the brightest oranges and pinks ~ it's an ongoing craving, which is getting stronger as the days get colder and greyer!

happy creative space day!
~ lots of spaces over at kirsty's.

I find stranded embroidery thread so good for when you need an affordable hit of colour. Cheaper than buying handbags right? I just bought some in teal - no project in mind for it yet, just had to have it!!!!

I'm excited to see how the paintings come out. I love seeing how other artists work.

I love the oranges and pinks, but now that it's getting hot and humid here I'm craving the tidepool greens and blues you showed in the top picture - gorgeous!

I really like the tiny penciled detail in that first photo. So sweet! It will be interesting to see your color changes from your usual. Lovely!
