new prints

:: shooting . limited edition fine art print

i've made prints of my first 2 new paintings for the new year. {the other one is here}.
they are now in the shop.

have also been playing around with the design of my blog! there's lots left to do still ~ but i'll need to work on it when i can without stressing! one of my vague thoughts/wishes for the new year {not concrete enough to be called resolutions} involves trying not to stress about the work that i can't do/finish in the time available and even to limit the 'deadlines'!

a hard one!! it seems a bit counter~something too, as to get the most out of the short work time blocks, it's best to have a plan/list/deadline/goal . . . but, my expectations are often too great and the resulting stress is not do~able long~term!

. . . so, you might notice a few improvements here over time :)

did you factor in any stress~reducing thoughts for this year?

I really like the new layout. Blog design is tough- hard to obtain balance with out looking empty. :)

The new print is lovely- I think the red really pops out of that soft green

LOvely print - I love what you do - so serene :).
As for bringing some serenity into my life I'm trying to get into online grocery shopping and meal planning - wish me luck!

You're blog is looking so lovely and fresh! Very stress free I think :) I need to find some stress reducing thoughts for the year because one of my "resolutions" has been very stress-full (ie, get more involved in social media) :) I need to get back in the studio more!

LOVE the new blog look! the header is nice and soothing. and i saw your new print on tumblr and just adore it. ^_^

i too tend to take on too much and romanticize the amount of work i can get done in a block of time and end up frazzled and disappointed. if you figure out a solution then let me know!

Hmm.. stress stress. I spent my last year stressing in finishing the projects and deadlines but the starting of this year, I'm taking them slower than usual. I just tell myself "This can wait..." XD I need rest, afterall!

Lovely print :) I really like the new geometric shapes that you are starting to incooperate (sorry, I've been semi-absent from the blog world for a few months).

Love the new prints ... there is always such lovely delicacy and calm beauty in your art.

I've been working on my blog design too - yours is looking lovely. I think they are often a bit work-in-progress, particularly if you're a control freak / perfectionist like me! ;)

My stress reducing thought this year is just to force time out - I'm reading from a book each night and just relaxing with the husband more than I did last year ... stay stress free my friend! :)

beautiful and delicate work...stress less? I have to tell myself everyday 'what's the rush?' but not stressing is a work in progress too x
