when i did my creative writing/editing course years ago i had to read out my own writing in front of the class {the horror!} and a couple of people commented that my writing style was masculine. they had visualised the narrator as being male {even tho they could see me reading!}. this thought/memory popped into my head when i was making these collages!
1. yellow light 2. cement
hope your week has started nicely :)

The first one is masculine to me; it is denser, and seems more "powerful."
The second is more airy and calm. Don't know which I like better...
Jip, I agree, the first one is definately more masculine. Perhaps it's because of the choice of color?
I'd hate to have to read out my writing out loud in front of a group BTW... ;)
i don't see them as masculine or feminine...they are sparse color quilts.....love the bit of orange!
