my creative space . right here
here is my space today ~ it's virtual and involves more clicking than anything else!
am colour correcting and cleaning up scans of my work to make prints ~ which i'd love to have finished tonight. not so creative at this stage, but it's a crucial step!!
i had a little time to think whilst clicking and came to the conclusion that working in photoshop is similar to driving a manual car: hold this down for a bit, press down on this one, let the other one go , , , look at the bigger picture and notice all the small details at the same time!
i hope you have had some creative moments today :) to see more spaces or play along visit kootoyoo.
** thanku to Andrea for the feature on sweetndainty, and to Kim for the artist feature on the Udessi blog :)

click, click, click.
I hope you get it done.
hi there!
this was a fascinating glimpse into your process...thanks for sharing. look forward to catching up soon...best, beth
I'm always surprised at how long it takes to get a file ready to print (and print test copies, etc).
One thing that I've been doing lately with prints of drawings with slightly rough-textured marks is running them through the unsharp mask filter. It's under filters-sharpen-unsharp mask. I try to keep it somewhat subtle, but it tends to look sort of bad on screen. It makes the printed piece really sharpen up, though.
I like the analogy of photoshop and a manual car! Hope you get it all finished soon and on to the next step.
:)
I love the colour greens you use.
I haven't played around with photo shop as much as I'd like to. I am pretty instinctive with most software but photoshop, illustrator etc... are quite high level so I know I am not getting the most out of them. Still they are so much fun to use. It must be so fun playing and experimenting
Looks great. Thanks for sharing your virtual space. It is nice to see how things develop and the next stage of the process.
Wow! This looks very interesting. Moving parts - that's pretty special, Belinda! You'll be making aceo-animations soon :) K
I love your manual car / photoshop comparison... and I completely agree! Good luck with getting your scans finished tonight.
Oooh yeah, Photoshop is a whole other world isn't it!
Drive defensively!
I love what you're working on. It looks amazing.
Such a great glimpse into your photoshop world- yes like a manual car- but manual cars make you feel very much more in control, and they are great fun...good luck with it all!

I love photoshop but it also drives me crazy sometimes. What you're working on looks good though, can't wait to see the results.
Great analogy! I never realised you (or others) did all that before selling prints. Thanks for the insight. (yes ~ still catching up on creative spaces, but loving your shopping lists too!)
Correcting is definitely crucial! Not a stage that I holey 'enjoy', but must be done
I love photoshop but it also drives me crazy sometimes..Thanks for sharing with us..
