wow! I think that after the 5th time my son did that to the couch and wall and tv and my desk and my bed and everything else, I laugh now and take pictures before cleaning everything up.
It sucks that your cover was just washed but with kids, what can you do?
You know there are artists who would kill to produce such uninhibited marks like that?!... must be in the gene pool! Hope it didn't take too long to clean up... :) K
I like the freshly washed Ikea cover detail...!Well you know a young boy has to be creative...have you seen those covers for couches that are all kids scribbles? I saw one a couple of months ago in a blog- if you let your young ones scribble and exercise their creativity for a few months you could actually market it...hey, it might save you the washing!!
Bah ha ha! Good for you for finding the humour in this ;) It actually is quite lovely — gorgeous rich colours and definitely a sense of urgency. Hope it all came out in the wash!
You just reminded me of when my sister, as a kid, was drawing one day while sitting on a couch my parents had bought just weeks before. Her marker was drying up, so she tried numerous time to shake the ink to the tip... it came splashing out onto the serenely new cushions. Oooops.

Oh no! we have a graffiti 'tag' - some ode to a superhero - on Tom's wall and I can't manage to get it off.... they're so 'clever' aren't they?!
