something made me dash out in the rain on my bike today to get more art supplies.
i was thinking at the start of the day, maybe i'll go supply shopping – but i was good and thought it through and decided no, i'll use what i have and just start working . . .
but the urge kept creeping back in! besides, i had bought 2 similar yellows in the golden acrylics and needed a 'lemony' yellow. i also bought some stretched linen canvases {one on board}.
and, i managed to start some new work :)

moments of crafty desperation need trips on bikes in the rain!!!! I admire you for I would sulk in the corner about it raining and not go outside for nutting lol

I was "forced" to go for supplies this week too.

oh- i can relate to the feeling! sometimes it seems every time i sit down to work i need this that or the other ... some new supply. mostly i have to resist, but gave in this week too!

Sometimes the muse demands the need to shop for new supplies. I love the way you presented them in the photo. Love that yellow with the little bit of aqua/turquoise. I hope the final piece features the combo.
