work in progress . friday

these are the results of today's effort – it took me quite a while to get into the swing of things today for some reason. i feel like i have so much i want to do and have been suffering from that syndrome where instead of starting you go around and touch/look at all the stuff you want to work on! {don't you hate wasting time like that?}

there's a great storque article: Artistic Endeavors: Dollhead's Favorite Collage which has one of my collages in it! big thanks to katherine for this. am really loving the storque focus on fine art lately.

happy friday to you. am heading out tonite. what are you up to??

I like the falling quality in these...

Belinda, she may grow into the nurse outfit! It took Lucy 11 years to be 'ok' with clothing, and she will still eat bandannas off...

I think my favorite so far is the top-right!

Oh I do know the feeling! Fortunately it doesn't seem to ever last that long... does it?

Lovely colours again though!

Hey there you--stunning work as always. Do you know Hundertwasser's work well at all? Yours reminds me of his a lot. (In fact, have a story to tell about him, which I will reveal in a future post...)

Ugh, I know that syndrome. I tend to get a really bad case of that towards the end of the week! Hey congrats on the Storque feature! They made the right choice including you!

I do the look/touch thing all the time. I'm a master of time wasting.

Lovely work in progress and such a clean and calming space.

I know what you mean about wasting time, the other night instead of sewing I spent an hour standing in front of my wardrobe moving clothes around. I achieved absolutely nothing by doing it but it felt like the right thing to do at the time...

I love the orange pink combination! Your work is so lovely and springtime fresh. That sounds like a description for washing up liquid but I hope you get what I mean!
